Product Description

akuku® gel compresses are designed with breastfeeding women in mind. Made from non-toxic material, free from latex, lead, and bisphenol A. They can be used hot or cold, depending on your needs. One side is covered with a soft, gentle fabric that ensures comfort and does not cause irritation.

Hot Use

The compresses help clear blocked milk ducts, provide relief for mastitis, and soothe swollen, engorged breasts. Use them just before breastfeeding to facilitate milk flow or before/during pumping to reduce pumping time by promoting faster milk let-down.

Preparation Method:

• Place the compress on a plate in the microwave.
• Set the heating time based on the microwave power: 700 W – 16 seconds, 1,000 W – 13 seconds, 1,250 W – 11 seconds.
• Heat each compress separately.
• Check the temperature after heating; if needed, heat for an additional 5 seconds.

Cold Use

The compresses provide relief for sore, swollen breasts due to engorgement or mastitis. They can be placed inside a bra to prevent slipping.

Preparation Method:

• Place the compresses in the freezer for at least 2 hours.
• Apply with the fabric-covered side against the skin.

Warnings

• For external use only – do not use for purposes other than those specified.
• Use for a maximum of 20 minutes at a time.
• Clean with mild soap or detergent.
• Do not place heavy objects on the compresses.
• Not suitable for use by children.
• Do not heat beyond the manufacturer’s recommended time to avoid damage.
