Hydronea Baby is a rehydrating preparation that replenishes fluids and electrolytes lost, e.g. during diarrhea or vomiting.

Hydronea Baby is in the form of a powder which, when dissolved, becomes a hydrating drink with reduced osmolarity, the composition of which complies with the recommendations of the World Health Organization. Thanks to the content of electrolytes in the right concentration, it helps to maintain the proper water and electrolyte balance of the body.

Osmolarity - the lower the osmolarity, the more efficiently the body absorbs water. The best fluid absorption starts below 275 mOsm / l. The osmolarity level in Hydronea is 247 mOsm / L.

Suggested use

• Watering phase - the first 3-4 hours of watering: 3 sachets, dissolve in 600 ml. Serve in small portions.
• The phase of maintenance irrigation - further stages of irrigation: dissolve 1 sachet in 200 ml. Give 100 ml of prepared liquid after each diarrheal stool or vomiting. Serve in small portions.

• Watering phase - first 3-4 hours of watering: 4 sachets, dissolve in 800 ml. Serve in small portions.
• The phase of maintenance irrigation - further stages of irrigation: dissolve 1 sachet in 200 ml. Give 100 ml of prepared liquid after each diarrheal stool or vomiting. Serve in small portions.

• Watering phase - the first 3-4 hours of watering: 6 sachets, dissolve in 1200 ml. Serve in small portions.
• The phase of maintenance irrigation - further stages of irrigation: dissolve 1 sachet in 200 ml. Give 100 ml of prepared liquid after each diarrheal stool or vomiting. Serve in small portions.

Preparing a drink

Prepare 200 ml of warm, boiled water. (The amount of water according to the dosage in the table)

Dissolve the contents of the sachet in water. Mix vigorously. (number of sachets according to dosage in the table)

Serve chilled. Do not sweeten the reconstituted solution.

Ingredients

Glucose, sodium citrate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, natural lemon flavor

One sachet contains approximately 3.7 g of glucose. People with diabetes should exercise caution.

Important

• For infants over 6 months of age, children, and adults.
• Do not use it if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients.
• Contraindication to the use of the product is the presence of blood in the stool, poor renal function, haemodynamic shock, and intestinal obstruction.
• The product contains a source of phenylalanine and is not recommended for use by people suffering from phenylketonuria.
• The product should not be used parenterally.
• A varied diet and a healthy lifestyle are important to health.
• The product is incomplete food. It cannot be used as the sole source of food. The product should be administered under medical supervision in the event of diarrhea and/or vomiting.
• The product contains sodium. People with high blood pressure and/or suffering from cardiovascular conditions should exercise caution. In the event of dehydration as a result of prolonged or repeated frequent, watery stools or frequent, feverish, watery stools, please consult your GP.
• Store the product in the original package at a temperature below 25ºC. Protect from moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
